Beer of the Year 2005 / Original Beer 2005

During Artebirra festival the following beers have been appointed:

The beers have been appointed among all the beers on tap at Artebirra festival in Pasturana (Al) on friday 27, saturday 28 and sunday 29, May with two different voting systems:

• by a jury of 7 reknown beer experts from Slow Food, Unionbirrai, Associazione Grande Schiuma and specialised press.
• by the public at Artebirra festival with proper voting-papers.

The final result is the sum of the two different partial classifications.

The "Original Beer" has been appointed in the same way, in order to award the beer that best represents a potential "italian" original and new style.

It is interesting to note that the expert jury and the public voted in a very similar way: the winner of Beer of the Year 2005 ranked first and second in the partial results, while the winner of Original Beer 2005 ranked first in both classification!
